Bourjois Smokey Eye Trios Swatches

I somehow ended up all the shades available in Australia! I love Bourjois that much, however I forgot to take photos of "05 Vintage Rose" as I am using it in a new video soon! Sorry guys, that shade will be up shortly.

In the meantime I decided I would do some swatches to show which are worth getting and which I would take back if I could as the quality varies from colour to colour.

The two I would NOT recommend getting are 12 gris lilac and 11 bleu jeans, both these two have poor pigmentation.

As you can see the other shade are quite nice and the fomula is super smooth and blendable! I have actually used them a fair bit! :)

How to Easily Highlight and Contour for Beginners!

So this is my easy highlight and contour method to get those Kim Kardashian cheekbones! I find it is a lot more forgiving to apply the darker foundation to the makeup brush first than to directly on to your face and blending it out and I hope my technique helps anyone else out there that struggles to blend out thick lines of dark foundation :)

I know in the beginning I said that mine was easier than the ones where you apply block colour and then blend it out, but i meant for the contouring! I know this is what I do for highlighting and I am sorry!

MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC25 (my foundation that matches my skintone)
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation 350 (my contouring shade)
Clinique Dermawhite Foundation 01 Ivory
Rimmel Silking Loose Face Powder 001 Transparent

Rimmel London Glam'Eyes HD Eyeshadow Review + Swatches

I was given this eyeshadow quad in the colour "001 Black Cab" recently as a "gift with purchase" with some other items purchased and let me just say I am glad I did not pay money for this product.

The colours look great and really wearable in the packaging but once i tried to apply them I found the two lighter colours had mediocre payoff and the two darker colours being semi-okay. Another thing that is a real put off is the design. There is definitely a lack of "function over form" in this design. Yes the layout is pretty cute making the Union Jack, but common, you have now made the colour area TINY and a real pain in the behind to use Rimmel!

In Conclusion I would not recommend this eyeshadow quad, I'm sure you could get much better from the drug store ranges.

Summer Sales HAUL!

Well it's that time of year when the boxing day sales and new year sales are on and I managed to pick myself up a few bargains! I absolutely love sale shopping so I am pretty excited to share my goodies with you all!

To start off with is what I purchased from Citybeach Australia! I got these in their boxing day sales online. Which is still currently going and has an extra 15% off TODAY!

I picked up some a cute exercise outfit and shoes! The sports bra and pants are by the brand Bounce Active. As I got these online I wasn't able to try them on, they do fit however the sports bra doesn't have much support which was a let down as I thought it would with such wide straps, guess I will have to stick with my Lorna Jane sports bras! I still love these and will be fine for my pilates!

P.s. I went to school with the model's sister on these tags!

Next up is this super cute playsuit I scored from Lucy In the Sky. They had 20% off site wide so I think this came down to about $35 and I love it, especially the back! Expect to see an OOTD post featuring it soon!

I also picked up some cute earring sets from Equip as I am forever losing my stud earrings. How cute are the little owls and cameras!
